Brief Bio
Formed in November 1999 L-B-L have concentrated on putting together a packet of tight songs which demonstrate their collective understanding of real pop music. Proper songs, remember those? Beginnings, middle bits, and proper endings. Oh..OK then, sometimes they play those twiddly bits in between too. That doesn't mean the sound is retro or nostalgic because it isn't. It's just that The Lemons enjoy the craft of making real pop songs in the classic way: 3 – 4 minutes of energy. That's what real pop music should be about!

"A loud band (aren't they all loud these days), with real songs featuring great hook filled melodies which insinuate themselves into the subconscious. Strange bunch of musicians really: girl drummer, a middle-aged guitar player, a shy but charismatic bass playing front-man, and a former model on keyboards. Sounds like it shouldn't work, but the sound does it's work! In short, this is a band which should appeal to grown-up people who have not forgotten how to rock."
